Life sometimes gets in the way of…
I only started this site as a way to spend more time with my late father before he passed. He needed a lot of care and I wanted to me home as much as I could. farm work isn’t conducive to that kinda of intense care he needed. I haven’t posted much since he passed, lives was hard enough. Then in October I lost a dear friend, someone who inspired me deeply.
James was the kind of guy who went out of his way to check on his friends. He started a local Library (edfes.net) where the content of the library was solely based on Ethnobotanical plants. He set up a proper 501(c)3 non profit and ran it well for many years. He built a community of plant nerds, hippies, and people who you never would have expected to ever have taken a psychedelic. He’s ability to bring all these different people together was perhaps his true super power. His group “Edelic” was a local place for anybody with an interest in what these plants have to offer would meet, talk , share stories and laughs while making plans for the future and an effort to bring them to life. James was involved in bringing many petitions and signature drives to life, and pushed for drugs laws that made sense. HE WILL BE BEYOND MISSED. RIP JAMES F.

His passing has lit a bit of a fire under me, I would like to do something to raise funds for his family. James was a huge proponent of Kratom as way to wean opiate users off of the harder stuff. So in his honor I hope to donate a large amount of Kratom clones to my local community. Over the next year I expect to take upwards of 300-500 clones off my mother tree and get as many rooted as possible and give them away at events here in Eugene, Oregon in James’s name. The clones will be given freely with any donations I get for them going to his wife and son. I also have a large collection of cacti I am going to slowly be auctioning off, so if your into cacti, maybe reach out to BrianFarrell710 at Gmail.com (throw Silphium in the subject box) and I can get you a list of what’s available. I will mail clones or cacti anywhere legal to do so in the 50 states. My cannabis strains are always available by reaching out as always. Stay safe in 2026, its crazy out there.
